Golden Retrievers are really wonderful dogs. They are friendly, loyal, affectionate, and they are even great with children. Unlike many other breeds they do not have a lot of problems, but there are still a few Golden Retriever problems that may develop. Separation anxiety is a common problem among this breed, as they are very caring dogs and grow close to their owners. Then when their owners leave them at home alone they tend to become very sad and disappointed and may lash out to express how they are feeling.
